Welcome Home
āThe Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.ā Psalm 23:1-3
Here at Good Shepherd,
we want you to feel like family.
As part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), we believe that the Christian Church is more than just a building. Itās a special bond between believers. Itās common ground, despite our differences. Itās coming together as children of God - united in Jesus Christ, our risen Savior. Itās unwavering accountability walking hand-in-hand with grace and mercy. Itās a safe and caring place to belong. Are we perfect? No. Weāre just regular people, seeking to follow Godās will through learning His Word & doing the best we can to live it out. You wonāt find any āperfect Christiansā within our walls. But what you will find is a tight-knit family whose members cling to Christās promises and to each other as we walk through this crazy, wonderful life together.
Sola gratia - Sola Fide - Solus Christus - Sola Scriptura - Soli Deo Gloria.
We believe that humankind is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone,
as Divinely spoken and recorded for us in Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.

LHM Daily Devotion messages are based on the church calendar's three-year lectionary, Psalms, the Old Testament, the New Testament, and Gospel texts. Additional devotions explore a hymn from the Lutheran Service Book, a "classic" text from some LHM resource, and a sermon excerpt by a previous Speaker for The Lutheran HourĀ®.
